Out of gas in Houston? Fuel comes to you.
When your tank runs dry on a freeway, in a parking lot, or somewhere that makes walking to a station unsafe or impractical, Tow Pro Houston can match you with mobile fuel delivery throughout the Houston metro. Operators bring up to 5 gallons of regular unleaded for emergencies, while advance callers can request routing for a premium-rated tank or diesel. The matched driver adds the fuel so you can start the engine and reach the next station. Most situations don’t require a tow.

- You need to make it home, but AAA’s wait is taking too long
Houston questions about Fuel Delivery
What does mobile fuel delivery cost around Houston?
Before the truck is sent out, the operator gives the complete service-call quote up front, together with the cost of the fuel itself.
How much fuel do you bring?
The limit is 5 gallons of regular unleaded. That gives you enough fuel to reach any gas station in the Houston metro, with some left as a buffer. The cap is 5 gallons because you should fill up correctly once a real pump is reachable. Refueling from jerry cans takes time, and a freeway shoulder isn’t the place to do it.
Do you bring diesel or premium?
Yes, if you give advance notice. Call and explain what fuel you need, and we’ll connect you with an operator whose truck carries it. This may take longer than a regular gas delivery if the driver has to get the fuel first. Specialty blends, E85, racing fuel, and kerosene aren’t available.
What if I am on the freeway?
Keep your seatbelt buckled, remain inside the vehicle, and turn on the hazards. Share the freeway, your travel direction, and the nearest exit number. Dispatch handles freeway shoulder requests daily on I-10, I-45, Loop 610, Beltway 8, and US-290. If traffic is dangerous, Houston PD may stop as well; this is normal.
If my EV has no charge left, can you deliver electricity?
No. Unlike fuel delivery, a portable charger can’t add meaningful EV range within a few roadside minutes because the physics differ. When an EV has no charge, the appropriate option is a matched operator’s flatbed to the closest Level-3 station or Supercharger. The operator quotes the standard rate before dispatch.
Do I have to be AAA to call for fuel delivery?
No. There’s no club card, enrollment delay, or membership charge with Tow Pro Houston. Service is pay-per-call. Have roadside protection from a motor club? Contact them first because the call may be covered. Otherwise, phone us directly.
